You can still get it for free. I just installed myself and this workaround still works as of November 2022. The directions are below.
Copy/paste this link into the browser:

Or, open command prompt, and type/paste:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?ProductId=9n4wgh0z6vhq
Click "Install".
