Does this work on Zillow? (Important Update)

Yes, but it works a little differently now. As of late 2025, Zillow no longer "embeds" Matterport directly into the photo carousel. However, we provide you with a compliant Virtual Tour Link. You paste this into your MLS listing, and it will appear as a clickable link on Zillow, Realtor.com, and Homes.com. Buyers can still access it easily.

How long does the scan take?

It's slower than regular photography because we scan every few feet. We typically cover about 1,500 sq ft per hour. A standard 2,500 sq ft home will take about 90 minutes to 2 hours. We require the home to be empty (no people or pets) during this time to ensure the scan is clean.

Are the floor plans accurate?

Very accurate. Matterport cameras use infrared lasers to measure distance. The resulting schematic floor plans are generally accurate to within 1-2% of reality. They are perfect for marketing and help buyers answer the question: "Will my sofa fit here?"

Can you scan outdoor spaces?

It depends on the sun. Matterport cameras use infrared light, which gets washed out by direct sunlight. We can usually scan covered porches, 3-season porches, and garages easily. For full backyards, the results are better with our Drone Photography or 360 Panoramas rather than a 3D walkable scan.
